Operator requests and continuous-improvement ideas board.

The problem

Operators spot the fix but have nowhere to put it, so good ideas die at the machine and the same problems repeat.

What it does

  • Operator requests and continuous-improvement ideas on one board
  • Categorise by impact and effort
  • Votes, owners and progress tracking
  • Turn a granted wish into a shop-floor announcement

Who it's for

Anyone on the floor with a request or an idea, and the manager triaging them.

Common questions

What does it replace?

The request shouted across the floor and forgotten, and the improvement idea that dies in a corridor.

Who is it for, and do I actually need it?

The whole floor, and the foreman who wants their voice captured. You need it if good ideas and 'we should buy more of these' never reach the person who can act.

Does it need another module?

No. Wishlist stands on its own. It runs the operator-request and continuous-improvement board for any shop.

How does it make the rest of TRS better?

It turns the floor into a signal: requests and Kaizen ideas with votes, owners and progress, sitting next to the same data the rest of TRS holds. A request to restock is one tap from the inventory it is about.

Isn't this just a suggestion box?

A suggestion box is where ideas go to die. This one has votes, an owner and a visible status, so the floor sees what happened to what they asked for.
