Terminal

Locked-down shop-floor kiosk for take/return and lookups.

The problem

Setters queue for the toolroom PC, or skip the system entirely because signing in is a hassle.

What it does

  • Locked-down kiosk with face login and RFID
  • Take, return, assembly preview and quick gauge lookup
  • Multiple setters share one station
  • Priced per terminal, not per setter

Who it's for

Shops that want a shared station at each machine bay or crib bench.

In the demo: Walk up, face login, RFID-tap a tool, take it. The transaction lands in seconds.

Works with

Needs at least one base module (Inventory, Gauges, Uptime or CAM).

Common questions

What does it replace?

Setters queuing for the single toolroom PC, and the sign-out sheet that gets filled in later, if at all.

Who is it for, and do I actually need it?

Shops with 5 to 25 machines that want a shared station per work area. You need it if a setter loses minutes walking to a PC to record a take.

Does it need another module?

Yes. The Terminal is a surface over your bases, so you need at least one base. It runs take and return, assembly preview and a quick gauge lookup at a fixed point on the floor.

How does it make the rest of TRS better?

It moves the transaction to the machine bay, so the floor actually records what it takes, in seconds, by face login and RFID. Every module downstream reads cleaner, more complete data.

Is per-terminal pricing really cheaper than per-seat?

For a shared floor, yes. Multiple setters use one terminal at one price, instead of paying for a seat each. That is the point of pricing per terminal, not per person.
